In September 2011 (12 - 16), Beirut hosted “The Second Meeting of States Parties to the Convention on Cluster Munitions - 2MSP”. A contest was nationally launched for the creation of the Event’s Logo, and my design was selected.

 

Concept: the white dove symbol of peace takes in safely, a family, their land and their bright future. It also brushes with its open wing a cluster bomb and transforms it into a lofty Cedar tree, emblem of Lebanon.
