We Clear for Life Project
The Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) has been clearing explosive remnants, in the south of Lebanon, since 2006. In this context, I was commissioned to create the following material:
1- The identity illustration was inspired by a photo of a searcher clearing a contaminated olive grove. The NPA logo’s colors (white, black and green) were used to maintain the visual identity of the NGO. The color red was used for the bomb and the word “CLEAR” to symbolize both the danger and the solution. The design was printed on the NPA Beirut Marathon T-shirts, Mugs, CDs, etc., for several years in a row.
2- The Brochure was about the NPA mission in Lebanon. Its design was simple and built around expressive photos. The colors of the NPA logo were used, in addition to the red, symbol of alert.
3- The banner was about a day in the life of a searcher. The design was simple allowing the detailed photos to tell the story. The photos were organized clockwise in a loop, suggesting the life routine of the searcher.
