"Nour wa Noura" Magazine

Nour wa Noura” was a non-profit biannual children’s magazine, created and produced by the Co-Academic Programs of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Balamand, in Beirut. It was originally sponsored by the USAID in the context of the Lebanese Education Assistance for Development project, and was published between 2004 and 2010. Each of its 12 issues was printed in 80000 copies that were distributed to children living in unprivileged Lebanese villages.

I started working at “Nour wa Noura" in 2003, and had the chance to be part of its inspiring creative team whose knowledge, experience and talents contributed to my personal and professional growth. I began as an illustrator, and then became the graphic designer and the art director of the last six issues of the magazine.

Below, are selected spreads from "Nour wa Noura" issue 9 (Throughout the ages) and issue 8 (I educate myself).
